QUOTES ABOUT THOM SEQUOIA:

Sequoia is a rare find – an astoundingly fresh voice to the singer-songwriter ranks hailing from the Pacific West.”
Tim’s Cabin Report – Orcas Island, WA

……….

“If accolades have a list of names to coddle, it won’t be long before Thom Sequoia’s name is on them.”
The Springville Herald – UT

……….

“Thom Sequoia is folk music.  People music.  His songs are the passion of the road, the subtle expressions of human interrelationships, the down-to-the-bone essence of life in America.  With expertly crafted guitar playing, and a silky tenor voice, Thom tugs on the threads of some inner freedom mostly gone in the world today.”
Shane Jackman – Americana Top 40 / National Touring Artist

……….

“Pure poetry to the heart, and music to the ears.”
Sounds of Sunday Radio

……….

“Thom Sequoia is a singer / songwriter toeing the edge of notoriety, about to burst onto the National scene.  With over a 100 songs to his credit patiently waiting to be recorded, he’s been looking over that proverbial cliff for years, casually dropping hit songs till the valley is overflowing and ripe for the harvest.”
The College Times – Orem, UT

……….

“Take one starry night, add a glowing campfire, friends and family gathered around, and put Thom Sequoia and his two guitars there playing his incredible blend of acoustic artistry, and you have a recipe for one memorable evening!”
California Arts Council

……….

“If you go see anyone this year, you must see Thom Sequoia’s performance. Where has this guy been hiding himself, and why isn’t he all over the airwaves?”
Abercrombie’s Review – OR

……….

“Sharp and poignant – a notable singer/songwriter among singer/songwriters – Thom Sequoia stands out among the pack as an enigmatic master of his craft.  His musical genius continues to proliferate into the public awareness.  His guest appearance was very enjoyable”
KFMY – AM 960

……….

“Just down the contemporary street from John Mayer and Ellis Paul, and around the classic corner from Dan Fogelberg, The Eagles, and Cat Stevens;  Sequoia has been compared to them all, and still emerges with a unique voice all his own – a quintessential singer / songwriter on the skirting edge of both pop, country, and folk – with songs that run deep, and melodies that flow like a mountainous river.”
Dawson’s by the Creek – CA

……….

“If somewhere there’s a musical intersection called the Four Corners – and the four streets that meet are called Folk Avenue, Country Lane, Blues Street, and Rock  & Roll Boulevard – then the guy playing on the corner everyone’s stopping to listen to could easily be Thom Sequoia!”
Sunday Folk Radio

……….

“At once both storyteller, balladeer, and social commentator – with a telling honesty of the human condition and a prosaic delivery – Thom Sequoia is a voice poised to make a mark on the songwriter / performer  circuit.”
Novell Hard Disc Cafe

Tahitian Noni International
Tribune News

Tahitian Noni International is not only one of the largest employers in Utah County and puts back millions of dollars to the local economy through goods and service vendors, but they now provide the community with free entertainment. “TNI is committed to giving back to the community by hosting free concerts and other calendared events,” said community relations manager, Chris Henshaw, and graduate of Timpanogos High School.

TNI has built their 150,000 square foot International Headquarters on 17 acres in the Riverwoods. Within and around this mammoth and beautiful structure is the Visitor’s Center, complete with a 300-seat auditorium, performing stage, gardens, and the Tahitian Noni Café.

These facilities have been made available for the public to enjoy. The auditorium is for live professional concerts that are free to the community on Friday nights. Peter Breinholt, Thom Sequoia and Thurl Bailey are among those who have performed in the auditorium.

The gardens are also open for the public to view. These gardens were voted the most beautiful in Utah. Last spring, 85,000 imported tulips were planted among other tropical flowers. A man-made stream is filled with 200 rainbow trout. If you wish to walk through this wonderland, simply enter through the lobby and tell the host you want see the gardens.

The “Tahitian Noni Café” is one of seven worldwide and prepares gourmet sandwiches at very affordable prices. Generally, there is a dinner special to go along with the Friday night concerts according to Henshaw.

UTAH VALLEY TELEVISION
…for Utah Valley, of Utah Valley, by Utah Valley

We would like to introduce a new friend to you. Utah Valley Television (UVTV) has hit the airwaves. If you have any experience in the Utah Valley area, you realize that our valley is largely ignored by the dominant media to the north. Salt Lake TV stations generally cater to the Salt Lake advertisers and viewers. The “local” news occasionally shows a Utah
Valley story, but it has to be a big story to bring the reporters south. If it wasn’t for BYU sports, there would be almost no advertising at all from Utah Valley. We at Utah Valley Television don’t believe this is right.
Our valley is big enough to have it’s own television station, telling our own stories. Our mission at UVTV is to put a spotlight on our homes, our businesses, our lives. Utah Valley is full of fascinating people and places, exciting activities and talent, with a strong business backbone to support it. We need to have a strong community voice that speaks to our neighbors and us.

UVTV begins with a locally produced news and issues program, called Utah Valley Views. As a valley, we are faced with a
never-ending list of issues. We will talk to the newsmakers and inform our viewers of the why’s and wherefore’s.
This thirty-minute program is produced twice a week. Scott Tippets, a veteran of the news business, will anchor the program.
Totally UV is a thirty-minute weekly program that focuses on the fun and entertaining of Utah Valley. It features the arts, entertainment, music and places to go. This program highlights and promotes wholesome family and singles activities. Totally UV is produced in different locations weekly, to help promote local businesses and activities. Utah Valley is jammed pack with musical talent. In Studio B is a weekly showcase for local Utah musicians to talk about their craft and perform a few tunes
in front of a live audience. Music styles will be as varied as our valley. Besides being entertained, we might learn a little about music too! In Studio B is hosted by Thom Sequoia, a ten-year veteran of the music business and an independent music artist
in his own right.
